MIA, but now I'm back!

Well been a while since I've blogged! 3 weeks to be precise. As everyone can understand, Christmas time is a hectic time & I really didn't have time to write anything. But now I'm back and hopefully will have regular posts. Christmas was spent at our place. Kids were spoilt as and we all had a wonderful day. I FINALLY got the perfume I've wanted for a long time, Hynose by Lancome, mmmm smells delish =) Kids got all the big stuff from Santa this year. Swing set, bikes, pool, table & chairs, skateboard & heaps more. The day went perfectly and ended spending time having dinner at our best friends mum & dads place. Couldn't of asked for a better day! So now the next big thing is New Years Eve tomorrow night. We're having a bunch of good friends around for  BBQ and drinks. Will be nice to relax and not worry about getting home! So for now this will be short and sweet as I have to duck out and do the grocery shopping. Be sure to check back, tonight I will post some of my photography I have shot over the past 3 weeks, so excited to share my new work =)

Point & Shoot 6-12-2010

Whoa, what a weekend! I'm still feeling tired as anything from such a long exhausting weekend. Started off by travelling to Melbourne ( 4 hours away ) bright and early Saturday morning. Got to Melbourne had a look at a few car yards ( looking for a second car ) then it was off to the Zoo to meet up with my sister. Was a long hot day at the Zoo, although I think I was the only one really enjoying myself, ha ha. Kids did love seeing all the different animals and wandering around but in the end the scorching sun was too much for the little munchkins, so off to the DFO we went in the nice air conditioned centre and did a little retail therapy. Saturday night we spent the night in a not-so-nice motel ( my bad, I didn't choose a very nice place =( but it was ok I guess for the night ) next time I'll spend the extra whatever it costs and stay in the city. Main thing was the kids loved playing around the room, was an adventure for them because it's the first time they have stayed in a motel lol yes not that exciting but for them it was. Sunday we were up bright and early as we had a work family function to go to, there were rides, craft activities, reptiles, animals, food, icecreams and lots more, best thing was... all FREE!! The kids both received a present each, Aaliyah a Fisher Price cash register and Jesse a guitar that plays real music. They had an absolute ball & loved watching Diego & Dora perform on stage =) At the end of the day we drove the 4 hours back to our home town, we couldn't wait to get home. Here's a few pics from our awesome weekend away...

Christmas is near!!

And I'm beyond excited!! This year we have defnitely spent more than we can afford but I would rather miss out on "things" for myself and give my kids the best christmas. I know kids love anything you get them even if it's not much. But this year I decided to go all out and buy all the big things at once, so far theres a swing set, trampoline, bikes and so much more. I just really wanted to get all the outdoor toys and stuff out of the way so my kids can enjoy more time out the backyard other than always going to the park. ( Park is fun but sometimes I'd rather stay home and enjoy our nice backyard.) Today being the 1st of  December, it's always been a tradition to put the tree up on this day not before and not after ALWAYS on the 1st ( mum used to say it was bad luck putting it up before the 1st but yeah each to their own) So tonight after dinner we put the tree up with the help of the munchkins. Heres a couple of pics of my darlings putting decorations on the tree.

Love the last pic, just too cute. =)
